Genre
Contemporary Fiction, Women’s Fiction, Adult Fiction, and Genre Blending.
Subgenres
I do not tie myself to a single genre; instead, in my books I consciously blend at least two of them. I use blending as a tool for crafting stories that are more vibrant, profound, and immersive—stories rich in unexpected twists, suspense, and intense character emotions.
Each book is unique, with a different genre taking the lead. I enjoy immersing myself in a new kind of story each time—one that demands more than just swapping characters or settings—though this does not mean I will never return to a genre I have explored before. The future holds fantasy, romance, and the kind of darkness one must step into to conquer one’s demons.
Themes
I write stories centered on the characters’ inner lives, traumas, and healing. Readers often have to step out of their comfort zones, as the topics are not always comfortable or palatable—they are provocative and raw. Sometimes, they sting precisely because they are all too familiar. A new idea arrives carrying its own specific tone and emotion. After a particularly heavy or dark story, I might want to immerse myself in something lighter to recover emotionally; at other times, I want to dive even deeper, unflinchingly revealing what life looks like when we turn a blind eye.
Writing is not merely black letters printed on a white page; it is about feelings and lived experiences, raw wounds, and the emotions of characters—emotions one must internalize to truly understand and convey them. It is also a process of research and continuous information gathering that lasts right up until the final sentence is written.
